John Gabaldon is a sound healer practitioner and personal chef based in Los Angeles, CA who created, OhmSpot– a physical and online location that is centered around wellness from the inside out of each person. OhmSpot includes guided meditations, sound baths, healthy food expertise and cooking sessions, nature trips of expertise about the landscape and it’s medicinal plants that live in it. Â
John teaches classes with his various sound bowl and sound therapy instruments  in Los Angeles, CA and in Yoga Classes in Redondo Beach and at Children’s Hospital.  He utilizes instruments including Tibetan sound bowls, Crystal sound bowls, tuning forks, drums, sound instruments using the frequencies set to 432 and 528.   In his spare time, he has created an outdoor meditation area in Hollywood adjacent to Runyon Canyon area which serves as a base for healing practitioners to use in the natures hikeable “ohm spot”, merging nature with health practitioners who work with sound therapy, breathwork clinics, meditation styles, reiki, tai chi and various yoga practices and spends his free time planting various shade drought tolerant shade trees and shrubs and medicinal plants to bring back to life an area that was littered, covered with graffiti and unused into a zen area for meditation and connection with nature.
He has dedicated his life to the path of service, helping awaken and empower others with the ability of sound to heal and transform. Mr. Gabaldon is also a personal chef who uses the mantra, “food is medicine” as his regiment for creating meals. Â He also enjoys yoga, hiking, and helps with various organizations including HRC (Human Rights Campaign), Friends of Runyon, Tree People, My Friends Place (a safe place for homeless teens) and loves to travel and work on his cabin in Big Bear when he’s not working with sound therapy or helping out in the community.
